Cindy has often been compared to Dolly Parton , Alison Krauss and Eva Cassidy. Despite those comparisons, there is a distinctive quality in her voice you'll hear right away. Cindy gives much credit for her wonderful sense of style and emotion to her mother, Marcia Hughes, who is a noted and prolific gospel music songwriter. Cindy was singing in church at the age of four! Her musical family noticed that she never really needed to be taught how to sing. Co-producer Emmitt Thrower of Broadway Babies' leadership fame is currently working closely with Tom and A. Michael on the development of their finished work. One such work is "Prevailing," which is a powerfully moving and emotionally charged play about child abuse based on the book "The Razor And The Mirror" by Christian Michelle Dickerson. "Saturday Night Specials" is another Horner-Storm collaboration about an interesting group of troubled teenagers who are all given the choice to redeem and to pay for their past bad behavior - in lieu of legal confinement - by spending every Saturday night for one year with a young and very caring priest.
