| About Ferdkind | Hello, My Name is Dave Toroni. I am a singer/songwriter. I have been playing guitar since I was about 8 years old and have been writing songs since around 15 years old. Now in my late 30's I still love to create music. Some dreams never die. I came up with the name Ferdkind about 5 years ago. It's meaning to me is the kind that boldly voyages long distances. Previous bands I have been in are Zexz, Cerebus, Massarea, and SpindL. I have owned a lot of different guitars such as Yamaha, Charvel, B.C. Rich, Fender, Martin, Peavy, Ibanez, and Jackson. My favorite amps are Marshall, Line 6, Fender, and Peavy. I use Ernie Ball Hybrid strings for the electric, and Martin Medium or Heavy on the acoustics. I record and mix my own songs at home on my computer. It's art to me, and I love doing it. I'll be uploading many more songs on here in the future. For now I am kickin it off with an acoustic tune I wrote titled "She Lights Candles". It's about Mother Earth. I have more songs on Facebook and Myspace, if you look up Ferdkind.
