New York based ELECTRO/POP band “DEAD CELEBRITIES” was cultivated in May of 2008. Through writing real songs accompanied by a postmodern electronica sound, Dead Celebrities is forging an alternative style that’s primed to blow 15 inch subs in your face. .... The sound is harmonious and refreshing, laced with pile-driving guitars, monstrafigous bass lines, teen beat dance beats, fiercely romantic synth lines and sensational yet insurgent vocals and harmonies. Their debut album was recorded over the summer of 2009 and held with out bail. The song crafting and lyrical content is what took the band to another level. The bands' efforts have been described as "something new, dangerous, fun and alive." .... Ferociously rocking with a high-wire fragility, their new CD has also been quoted to be "unabashed with a Gaga kiss”. It’s not hard to think of this powerful quintet as a reincarnation.
