Because one thing you can be sure of, THE HOWBOY CATTS will always RISE AGAIN! Who the heck are the Howboy Catts anyway? With the release of their new album 3rd Life, this year on FYF Records Nashville, we may just finally find out!! For now, it's WALTER (THE MUSIC CITY MADMAN) CHERRY on Guitar, Banjo, Vocals & percussion and Bo Frame(CAPN' LOVE) on Guitar Vocals and Drums and unofficially, yet still officially STEVE GOODIE on literally everything else. They've been kicking around Nashville since around 2009. After going BACK TO THE COUNTRY THING last year and "THE CATT- ASTROPHE" that was 2019's best of release as well as CHAISIN' some TAIL in 2017 they figured it was time for a bit of a change. The first official single off the new album "RISE AGAIN", is the Howboy Catts journeying into the spiritual realm and crosses over a bit into praise and worship. And though they are at home most in the Country/ Rock world, as they state "It's the song we all need right now!". This tune became a bona fide hit here reverbnation as it charted the highest of any Catt track so far. This new album showcases some new songwriters, like Steve Zacaroli, as well as a few Country classic covers done Catt style, yet it shows the true talent in songwriting that The Catts have displayed in the past, through some new songs and some dug out of moth balls specifically for this release. Engineer/Producer, Nick Lane (Rascal Flatts, Reba, etc), is leading the way on this one as well as recording the album in a couple of new studios, to give the boys a whole new sound.
