About Trey Harris

Born and raised in Union, SC Trey's first exposure to country music would be sitting along side his grandfather in the cab of an old pick-up truck listening to 8 tracks of country legends such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Bill Monroe. This same grandfather gave Trey his first guitar when his was 14 and before long he'd taught himself to play all those timeless classics he'd come to love. Soon Trey would be influenced by the Outlaw Country sounds of guy's like Waylon and Wille and Merle Haggard. He also came to love Southern Rockers like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels, and a group of local guy's The Marshall Tucker Band. Trey entered his first talent contest in Junior High and was hooked. Although it would take a few more years and some hard times later before music would take center stage in his life. After graduating High School Trey would serve in the Marine Corps, marry, divorce, and be sent to prison for Aggravated Assault. It was an experience that would change his life forever! While in prison Trey began to really concentrate on his songwriting and once released it would soon pay off. Trey's song's have appeared in television, radio, and been featured in The Wall Street Journal. For years he fronted one of the most popular bands to ever come out of the South, Trey Harris and The Lounge Hounds played before sold out crowds everywhere and opened for major acts such as Charlie Daniels, David Allan Coe, Confederate Railroad, and many, many more! Most recently adding acting to his resume Trey appears alongside of Tim McGraw, and Gwyneth Paltrow in the major motion picture " Country Strong. " With nowhere to go but up be sure to catch this awesomely talented artist every chance you get.
