Kcoalition is a dynamic group of young men who have amazing talent. Taylor, Logan and their group Kcoalition are members of ASCAP as songwriters/composers/performers. Kcoalitions ages range from 11 to 16 yrs. The two guitar players are Logan and Taylor. Taylor also does vocals and has a great voice for his age. These two guitar players have been writing songs since they were 11 and 12 yrs of age. In addition to back up vocals Logan can shred on guitar as well or better than most adult guitar players. The bass player came to the group about a year ago and brought with him abilities that the others have not seen in a bass player. He also seems to attract alot of girls - the band says thats important! The drummer is the youngest at 11 yrs of age and is Taylor's brother, Tony. Tony started playing drums at the ripe old age of eight years old and it is common for him to steal the show. He has won the hearts of many girls of ALL ages! Tony is a dynamic person and loves to talk to all the fans. He often is asked for a signed drum stick after many shows - normally girls! The groups favorite foods seem to be tacos, burgers, pizza, and grilled steak, and they love BBQ. We hope you enjoy their music and be sure to watch for new releases. They are planning on working on their second CD late this summer or early fall. If you ever have a chance to hear them in concert don't pass up the chance - it is a powerful and dynamic performance! Oh yes, your comments will be given to the band to read (I promise) but lets keep it clean. EQUIPMENT: Currently, Logan plays a Jackson Rhoads, a Schector 7-string. His main gig amp is a Marshall TSL 100 head with two Mesa cabs - so cool! Taylor plays a Schecter Exotic Star and a Ibanez 7-string,an Epi Les Paul and a modified Jackson King-V. His main gig amp is a Marshall Modefour hybrid with Marshall cab. Greg plays a Ibanez 5-string, and a Ibanez 4-string. His gig amp is a Behringer 300 watt bass amp. Tony's main gig trap set is a Pearl 7-piece high-gloss wood grain with lots of chrome. He uses 9 Zildjian cymbals and a DW double pedal. He also has a Tama 5-piece that includes a pdp add-on mounted tom and a Cobra bass pedal. All four members of Kcoalition are great students and are respected by their teachers and fellow students. Taylor has been elected class president at his school for the past several years in a row. Kcoalition currently owns two rehersal studios that are both fully equipped and they use them alot! Were not going to detail all the studio amps and mixers/etc. Kcoalition is planning their second CD release this fall that will include their latest hit single "Heart Of Ashes". The second CD will include their first 8 min. instrumental called "Water". Logan and Taylor wrote the instrumental several years ago and have decided to unleash it upon the world. Stay tuned for details as the second CD takes shape. We hope to see you soon. AN UPDATE - The second CD is finished and is available through itunes and Amazon.com. The band had way too much fun recording this CD. It has nine tracks and debuts these new singles: "Heart Of Ashes", "Beautiful Stranger", "Falling Apart", and "Water". Their work is done for this year and it's time to go back to school - hope to see you season 2010!
