It is with my distinct pleasure to present to you,one of Reggaes'brightest stars.A man with the drive and initiative needed to take Third World music by storm and place reggae music where it belongs,in the hearts and minds of you the listening public.
Born in Kingston,Jamaica,he brings with him all the subtleties and nuances that gives his vocal style the authenticity,which has propelled his musical progenitors to the top of their fields such as the late great Bob Marley,Peter Tosh and Jacob Miller.Recording since the late 70's,this artist posses a bonafide tract record of solid industry savvy and credibility amongst his peers inside and outside of Jamaica with such releases as"So Much Love" "Africa" "Berlin Wall" etc,to his credit.Upon his arrival in America,he quickly rose to prominence,as the lead vocalist for the now disbanded but not forgotten recording group Lion Hearts.
An excellent touring band,the Lion Hearts,during their five year tenure continued to captivate audiences everywhere playing to capacity crowds at renowned concert halls such as Constitution Hall and Kilimanjaro to name a few,where he has opened for acts such as Third World,Mutabaruka,Black Uhuru,Gil Scott-Heron,Yellowman,Skatalites,Last Poets,Chuck Brown among others.As you will soon discover for yourself,the undeniable DAVID ISRAEL.
