| About Creativeminds | Hi all welcome to the world of CREATIVEMINDS Where creativity hold no bounds. Creativeminds consist of Jacob Dale Albert AKA "JD" & Joseph Francis AKA "OBJ". JD has been involved in music practically all his life and as thought that music was the only thing that he had a true understanding of. JD came to England as a youngster in the early 1960's where he quickly forged his way in music by doing any job that related to music. He soon found that he was surrounded by several Genres� of music. By chance he was introduced to a young soul band at the time called The Coolnotes who have since gone on to have several top ten hits in the 80's. And that train seems to keep rolling on as the keyboard player Steve McIntosh went on to have a successful son Bradley in S Club 7. During the time JD spent travelling and gigging with The Coolnotes he wrote several songs for them, that they played on the live sets. The audience reaction was encouraging so with that in mind he went on to spend time with several other bands and artists at that time such as Victor Cross, the Cimarron's, Zoil Foundation, Eddy Grant & the Equals, Matumbi, Blackslate. In fact it was Eddy Grant that got JD is first gig as a singer. At present JD is working with an up and coming talented singer song writer AYO ARE who's acoustical blend of urban type vibes are mesmerising. JD's work ethics is second to none and the versatility and experience he has gained over the years finds his song writing and producing skills much sort after. Its during his brief time with the Coolnotes he met the other half of Creativeminds Joe Francis AKA "OBJ". OBJ started his music career very early in life as he has come from a musical background his mum played the piano in churches and inspired OB to start playing a few notes here and there. His first real musical accomplishment is when he learnt to play the recorder in the school orchestra. Things moved swiftly on from there to playing the piano then finally taught himself to play the drums. Although OB plays the drums and percussion he also is a seasoned songwriter and producer. His collaborations are to name a few Desmond Decker, Supported Janet Kay,Eddy Grant, Shakatak, Winston Groovy and Joe Jackson to name a few. For many years during the Eighties OB was unwell and for a few years did nothing productively musically but the thought of not being around music was too much to bear. Many a time he battled the illness and started writing again His gold is to one day write a film score to a massive block buster. But for now is willing to write for anyone that's enthusiastic and passionate about music. Creativeminds are always on the look out for new upcoming Artists and at present are working with a seasoned singer called Heather Haywood. Heather Started at the age of fifteen with the band called the Coolnotes based in London. They were a seven piece outfit, which had two top twenty hit singles in the British National charts.Her goals are to be a sucsesfull singer songwriter and producer. She enjoys a mixture of various gernre's Soul Reggae R&B, House and Jazz which reflects in her music. Her musical heros are Whitney Houston, Chakka Khan, Mariah Carey, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Micheal Jackson, Beyonce Knowles, Mary J Bligde. Heather has just finished working her latest project with Creativeminds Productions on The Olympic Song 2012 for the British Olympics and the Inner Vision Album that is currently airing on the Soncast inde radio station.
