About Tori Allen | Tori Allen lives in Round Rock, Texas, and is just 16 years old. While she may be young, she has a lot to offer to this world of music. Her voice is one that will not be forgotten as she is surely an up and coming artist who will make it somewhere in this business. Tori has been quite the musician all of her life where she began singing and writing music when she was just the age of 7. At 8 she learned piano, and by 10 she was broadening her musical horizon, she picked up violin. Then when she felt she needed more, at age 11, she took on a challenge of her own to learn guitar. She spent two years self-teaching herself by old music books just lying around in her home. But, not until recent years did she come public with this admirable voice and writing technique of hers. And now, here she is. "My guitar is my best friend and we work very well together" ~Tori As you can imagine, this is one talented young adult. She is bright and has a heart of gold that is ready to take on the music world with what she has to offer. A big part of her love for music comes from a family of musicians where her father, as well as her grandfather, played some very large venues from the 1930's up until the late 1980's. Tori has been performing professionally since the age of 13 on her violin for weddings and other special events. She has earned her own letter jacket from Orchestra, maintained 1st chair from grade school up, Orchestra President, and Vice President of "Texas Future Music Educators" at this time. She is featured on solos where ever her Orchestra performs. “Music is my life; I love and need it like oxygen. My dream is to make it big and be someone in this small world in this very HUGE business. I want someone who has had the worst day to turn on the radio, hear something encouraging from me, and it to put a smile on their face. If I could do that, I would be the happiest person alive.” ~Tori Tori is set to release her first EP by late 2008 or early 2009 entitled, "Stuck in This House" and will be featured on Vocals, Piano, Violin, and Guitar. My dad always told me, "Learn one instrument well, and the rest will just fall into place" ~Tori She is Indie and has no label yet. |
