About John Hazlett

The album "Hopes and Legends", comprises of the finished pieces, over a period of over 8 years. The first track "No Longer Home", is dedicated to the service members who have been deployed overseas, due to the "Global War on Terror". John Hazlett was born and raised in various places in California. His family eventually moved to the San Fernando Vally. He joined the Army when he was 18, and served mainly in Western Europe, but was deployed to Afghanistan in 2002. He played guitar since he was 19, and started composing music at the tender age of 38. The very first composition that he finished is "God's Endless Love".

He has 4 children, and currently is working as a cashier.
