Smoov got his start in high school where he spent countless hours making beats with nothing but his mouth and fists and in freestlyle sessions with friends at school and performing in talent shows. Smoov’s first performance was in the 10th grade at a party at his house with a live dj with two turntables and a mic. Everyone flocked to hear the young Smoov deliver a potentate and unforgettable performance. From that point on fans, friends and complete strangers have been quoting lines from Smoov’s arsenal of catchy, lively, conscious, and humorous rap flows. Since his high school years Smoov has received a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Tuskegee University and a Masters degree in Social Work from The University of Georgia. He has won three college football championships, one national championship, and amassed several accolades through the years. Smoov’s musical influences include Jay-Z, T.I., B.I.G., Nas, 2Pac, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Cee-Lo Green and Outkast. Smoov is a musician in his own lane. His songs are entertaining while also being informative. He believes in himself and his abilities and makes music to motivate others to do the same. Smoov recently created a major hit song with popular producer Marvelous J. The name of his new hit single is "WORK". The song inspires Smoov and others to get out there and WORK!! |
