About Sinini Ngwenya | Sinini Spencer Ngwenya started his musical career as a child in a rural homestead in western Zimbabwe. After moving to the UK in 2002, he performed with various Southern African traditional music groups across the country. In 2006, Spencer recorded his first solo imbube album,Dzandamubhatila. He is known for his innovative and experimental Nu-Afrow music and has been developing fusion sounds- weaving his politics through poetic beats in the stunning album, Getjenge Republic, produced by Silicon Drum Records. The latest album, Emoyeni, was recorded and mixed at his home studio in Oxford, England. |
