THE ORIGINS . cut-express music © was created in June-1998 by Meric van Helsing, and worked first in background-music-creation for TV-documentary and publicity spots. . EARLY YEARS . In 2002, CUT-EXPRESS © begun experience live music on stage with his rock group: W.P.O.D [white punks on dope]. Strongly influenced by: Nina Hagen Band, Spliff, Sex Pistols, AC-DC, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis. The group separate after one-year, and CUT-EXPRESS © starts to produce its first productions in: Electro, Alternative Rock, Industrial, Post-Grunge and Electro-Pop . FIRST RELEASE . In 2004, CUT-EXPRESS © become: Cut-Express © Music Productions. A small commercial success took place with the Album: « 2B (To Be)» with approx.: 3500 physical copies sold to public. The album was entirely produced with Steinberg Cubase © and Real Instruments. . EMERGENCY . In 2010, cut-express © introduce his new Band formation EMERGENCY (cut-express & emergency). After one year on the Record and live-acts in France & Germany, following their first Album « OUT OF HELL » which was released in December 2012. A modified Cover-Version from Deep Purples : « SMOKE ON THE WATER » was released with Rap-Lyrics and was the most succesful track on the Album and is still available today. The track was downloaded more as 175K times and gave the group financial backup for future projects. . In November 2013, the Name « Cut-Express & Emergency » was change in CYBERNETIC SOULS (cut-express & cybernetic souls) because the name Emergency was already used by an another band formation in the US. A new group was build-up from scratch with Musicians who come from Jazz, Rock & Metal Bands. In this proposal a experimental Band formation was created under the name… . DEPARTMENT OF JAZZTICE . It took not more as seven month to produce the succesful Album « GIGA-HERTZ FUNK ». The release was a setup about different music styles such as electro-jazz mixed with instrumental-Rock, Fusion and ambient Chillout backround. The influences come from Herbie Hancock, Weather Report, Pink Floyd and Jeff Beck. Real musicians was used for the recordings while a DJ was monitoring the FX lines and Samplebases. Sometimes a second digital Drumset was implemented to give more Digital structure (response) to the track. In many tracks you can hear sounds which was created by different type of Didgeridoos, tubes, electric machinery or Natural noise environment. . The Album « GIGA-HERTZ FUNK » was the most succesful Album ever produced by cut-express music ©, topping with 375-K downloads and over 2M online streamings until today. . U.W.R-Concept © . In 2016, cut-express music © has redesigned its digital productions with an own engineered sound concept, who was recently tested, in the latest Jazz-Funk Productions. The so called: "music-in-music" style combines Analog & Digital Recording, which introduces a special developed "Ultra-Wide-Range" Concept (U.W.R - Concept ©) . CYBERNETIC SOULS . In 2017, cut-express music ©starts its first official Productions for « Cybernetic Souls » in different music-styles such as : Alternative-Rock, Industrial, Instrumental Rock-Pop, Trance-House, E-Grunge & Dubstep. After 11-month of work in their new Recording Studio in Tenerife (Canary Islands), two new Album versions show up with : « ROCKPRINTS » (12-Tracks /Alternative Rock) and « DREAMLAND AVENUE » (10-Tracks /Alternative, Industrial & Electro).
