THE SONG IS CALLED BELFAST GIRL AND WAS WRITTEN AND SUNG BY ALEX. ALEX JOINED WITH FELLOW SONGWRITER B.G POLLOCK TO WRITE THIS VERY CATCHY , HAPPY - GO -LUCKY, FOOT-TAPPING SONG. Alex Quinn was the former singer / songwriter and guitarist with an IRISH Band called Barnbrack from Belfast. N.Ireland. Barnbrack toured the world sharing the stage with many famous celebrities , including Andy Stewart, Josef Locke, Paddy Reilly, Johnny Mc Evoy , Dana and Tom O' Connor .The band were awarded two gold discs and one platinum disc. Alex wrote the band's most famous song BELFAST and Alex was so proud when the infamous DANIEL O' DONNELL also recorded his song , BELFAST . Alex also wrote a HYMN to Saint Padre Pio, as a way of saying thank you to Padre Pio for his intercessions.
