About Ruff Diamond

In life people find many different outlets in order to release the pain that they hold inside, whether it be through drugs, the use of alcohol, joining gangs, or even working out excessively, pummeling their bodies.
I go by the name F.A.T.I.O., and I try to live by it's meaning on a daily basis, which is, Finally A Time In Optimism. A time in optimism it is finally because, like many others I come from a broken home, beat by my mother, never loved by my father, even being picked on by kids at school because of not having the latest fashions in shoes and dress. I was kicked out my mother's house at the age of 16 years old and have been in the streets ever since. I have used drugs, abused acohol, been homeless, joined a street gang in my youth, I have been to both jail and prison, I have even seen death right before my very face.
I've found that my outlet for the pain that has been involved in my life is by means of song writing and creating music. Performing these creations in the studio for others like me to hear brings about therapy, the type of therapy that will tell the listeners they are not alone.
...That's finally a time in optimism, that's F.A.T.I.O.
