About Keith Ramaila | Keith Ramaila Keith was born in Ga-Sekororo (named after the king Sekororo Mahlo) in a village called Lorain, did his primary and high school in the same village. Keith is a self-taught piano player who started singing when his mom introduced him to a local church male choir. He later moved to a Township called Namakgale in Phalaborwa after he matriculated and there he meet people who introduced him to the world of music and joined the band called NVGS in the same township in which he learned a lot in working in a band and playing piano and how to handle vocals and they toured Limpopo promoting their band and their material. In the year 2000 Keith moved to Gauteng (Johannesburg) to meet with Vusi Mahlasela to hand in his demo cd, but due to Vusi Mahalsela’s busy schedule then his hopes were short lived. In 2005 while studying at Boston College, he met with Karabo Motijoane of Sheer Publishing and secured a recording deal with the Cooler Records under Sheer Publishing and the first afro-jazz album was recorded in 2007 titled “MAMA”.(Keith Ramaila were an entrants into the jazz category with 'Mama' the in the 14th annual MTN South African Music Awards). In 2010 Keith Ramaila decided to be on in own and recorded his second album independently titled My Jazz in House under his own Label Bokang M Records (BMR) and since then he has never looked back. 2017 we are yet again to hear the sound of Keith Ramaila with his third album titled “Tomorrow” bringing more new sounds into the music scene. The track on the album titled Colors of the Rainbow already making a buzz as a more matured sound and making soulful house lovers wanting more.
