| About Bill Hooper | 80 Year Old Song Writer Eighty year old retired ordained minister contemplates his life of fifty seven fantastic years of marriage. He tells his chronicle by writing songs. This retired preacher has composed over three hundred songs. Bill Hooper, a brave and crisp new song writer presents his innovative and fresh original songs to the listening public for the first time. The Four-As-One Quartet sings his songs and they have such a close harmony blend that it sounds like one person. Oh yes, it is one person singing all four parts, Lead, Baritone, Tenor and Bass. These four tracks are then computer generated into a blend that sounds like one person singing. However, all four parts are apparent to the listener. It will take a real good ear to pick out the Bari part, but it is there. It took twenty five years to develop this harmony. As he recalls his life and the lives of many thousands of people that he has counseled, he sings his songs and recounts the excellent moments and includes the not so noble instants. Bill dedicates all his works to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. After being saturated with God, the Holy Spirit, he simply started writing songs of every genre. It is exceptionally interesting that God bestowed so much talent on and in Bill. This talent may have been present all of his life, but, it didn’t display itself until he was in his sixties. The out of the ordinary thing about his presentations is that he not only sings his songs, he sings them in four part harmony. Bill sings all the harmony parts by using the dubbing techniques used by Les Paul and Mary Ford, in the 1950’s and the Carpenters in the 1970’s.
