About J.Notes : Workerscomp International/Moneymakers LLC

Josmanuel Aybar, aka, J-Notes, was born and raised in Washington Heights, NY. With his Dominican background, he grew up to the sounds of merengue and salsa. Since a very early age, J-Notes would sing different Spanish songs for his family at various functions. Then, he started listening to Hip-Hop and R&B and this became a major influence on his musical style today. At the age of 9, he composed his first song, Dear Hip-Hop, which was a mix of R&B and Hip-Hop. The love of music was always in his heart. At the age of 19, J- Notes started his own management company where he started managing talent from the streets. One of the artists he worked with was Tato MC, formerly in the group LDA and Chosen Few. J-Notes also had a chance to work with Baby Psycho also from LDA. He got the opportunity to see firsthand how the music industry worked. However, working with other artist only encouraged his own desire to create his own music, a mix of Spanish, Hip-Hop and R&B with a social and political message.
When J-Notes and Maicol Sosa eventually met, they realized they both shared a common interest in creating music. With their talent for writing they decided to send out a positive message to the world "you can do whatever you set your mind to do". After that the Partners of Creativity was born. In 2010, with the help of Raphy Polanco, inspiring Bachata artist and producer/ engineer they recorded their first song, Chica Independiente, for their EP 10 Track Album Before Our Time/ Antes de Nuestro Tiempo.
Within Time The Duo had its creative differences and separated. J.Notes going solo open his mind to work with different types of artits both Spanish and English. In 2011, J.Notes grouped together with GQ' Urmega Don" and started working on a solo a project called "Caliente Como El Fuego" - "Hot Like Fire" - bringing J.Notes career to a different approach. In 2012 - J.Notes open shows for Bachata Artist Andy Andy , in Richmond, Virginia & Raleigh , North Carolina. The people received J.Notes with a great vibe. In the Beginning of 2012, J Notes Got Together with Big Hodge and created Workers Comp International. Workers comp International its a label bringing different artist from different genres and uniting them in One Label for one approach and that's making great Music. They Also teamed up to released 2 albums - Sons Of Apollo & Return To Mount Olympus.
