Chris Young is a singer/songwriter/piano player. His song'Heaven Only Knows'recorded on Festival made the charts in Australia. He has performed extensively there and in Europe playing in bands and as a solo act. His band the Chris Young Trio won Jazz Quest '89 in Australia. He has worked in professional theatre and played Simon whilst understudying the part of Jesus in the Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar. His first album released in 2012 'Piece of the Night' is a live solo album and features his original songs. It is an adult contemporary album of soft ballads and ambient music and is being acclaimed world wide. He is putting the finishing touches on his second album 'Snakes and Ladders' soon to be released. Presently he works in a piano bar on the Gold Coast and with a country rock band called the Smokin' Bullets.
