About Prince Nefew and Da/Mill

PRINCE NEFEW & DA MILL
Performing in the shadows of legends is inevitable when a new star is born. Not long ago-only 4yrs-rapper Prince Nefew(11) initiated that process for himself, his brother(T.Man,9)two sisters(Moda,9 & Libby,10)and female cousin (Lue Lue,12)by simply being him.

At the tender age of 7 Nefew, whose biological name is Michael King, unknowningly began to tap into his artistic spirit. His Uncle Marcus Miller, who he affectionately calls "Dad",Was among the first to notice he had an innate ability to rap & perform on a high level.Whether it was something bubbling on the radio at the time,Prince Nefew was comfortable expressing himself by rapping old or new songs...and he was GOOD at it.

Tragically, when he was 8yrs old,Pricne Nefew and his siblings were forced to endure the impossible truth of their mother passing.Only 6 months later, after moving in with their grandmother, she was called home as well.Courageously,Uncle Marcus stepped up to the plate, legally adopting all four of his nieces and nephews in an effort to maintain family harmony. The grief, however, was more than Prince Nefew's small shoulders could bear, unless he was enveloped in his favorite pastime:music.

"We would turn on the radio or B.E.T and it would bring him back,"Uncle Marcus says, offering how Nefew rebelled in school as he was clearly mourning."We wnet through therapy and it didn't do anything, but I noticed the music sparked a flame in him."

Like any good father,Marcus helped adopted son along, supporting him fully. He offered to continue only if the growing prodigy promised to keep pace with his peers scholastically."He agreed to do it and brought his grades up from F's to an A honor roll student."Marcus remembers,"and everybody else just fell in place."

That process effectively formed the group now known as Prince Nefew & Da Mill, whose debut EP From Bookbags to Briefcases is a testament to their ambition in school and as adults.

"We want to take it from school to business",says Prince Nefew."Get that education, then flip it over to the business [side of things]".

The lead single,"Bully",is building major artists,Prince Nefew & Da Mill's creativity extends to acting, dancing and modeling.Their live shows are just that,as 20 minutes and several various short skits are proven highlights of their live shows.Equally important, they are committed to fighting obesity in children.Their second single "Make U Move",is an up tempo ditty that encourages kids to exercise and always cherish school as their number one priority.

"We have our own program,"says Prince Nefew, who along with his siblings and cousin, could rightly model P90X Abs for kids."We run,do jumping jacks, leg curls, lift weights and do sit ups everyday".

PRINCE NEFEW & DA MILL ARE OFF THE CHARTS.
