Jimi Jamison


Memphians remember a very young Jimi Jamison as the front man for a group called Target back in the mid 70’s. It was obvious then that Jimi had a big career ahead of him. Target released two albums on A&M Records and toured with everyone from Black Sabbath to Journey’s first headline tour. In the early 80’s Jimi moved on to sing with Cobra, released one album on Epic Records and by 1983 had an invitation to audition for Survivor.
