About Mark Chadbourne

Mark Chadbourne, is an American composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist. Beginning to compose at age 9, he holds two degrees in music. Chadbourne was featured twice in "Who's Who of American Composers", and has won several compositional awards. Chadbourne's musical style is ecclectic - described as "anti-pop sensibilities in a classic pop format."

Chadbourne's catalog has been downloaded in over 100 countries worldwide. In addition, Chadbourne wrote the weekly column "Artspeak". His extensive musical interests have also produced obscure discographies which have been featured in the books "Rock 'n' Roll and Reminisce" and "Bubblegum Music: The Naked Truth".

Chadbourne is also noted for his paintings and soundscape installation pieces that have been displayed in galleries and spaces, and featured at the Cleveland Institute of Art. His video art piece "You Too Can Win Over Depression and Have a Happy Marriage" was showcased on PBS's "Live Off Center".

Former front man for the band Tent Sleeps 4, and co-member of studio duo Bla, Chadbourne's track "ctrl.alt.del." was named the top downloaded track by American television network MyTV in 2008.

Chadbourne has released 6 studio albums, 1 live album and a double disc Greatest Hits set.
